For years I have been using aluminium-free deodorants – either as a spray or roll-on. But for quite some time now, I’ve had the feeling that they don’t work that well anymore. And yes: I sweat. So I thought: well, then just try to make it yourself. You only need 3 ingredients: coconut oil, baking soda and and starch flour.
- 3 tea spoons coconut oil
- 2 tea spoons baking soda
- 1-2 tea spoons starch flour
In summer coconut oil is anyway fluid – due to the warm weather. In winter you just heat it in water bath.
Mix the dry ingredients first and add then part of the already fluid coconut oil until you have a creamy paste. It took me a while to find my favorite texture, so just give it a try.
Application: Dip your finger in the deodorant cream and apply the cream underneath your arm
Jars: I just bought a small cup with a lid which I can use and refill – very simple. I can as well take this with me when I am travelling.
